Our Story

At Paws & Poppets, every card begins with a story. What started as a few silly iPad doodles of a much-loved cat named Moo Moo soon became something much bigger. These drawings were a way to capture the funny expressions, quirky habits, and unconditional love that make our pets who they are. When Moo Moo sadly passed away, those little doodles became treasured memories, preserving moments that photographs alone couldn't quite capture.

That experience inspired the creation of Paws & Poppets. Today, we create customisable pet portrait greeting cards designed to turn cherished photos into meaningful keepsakes. Whether you're celebrating a birthday, marking a holiday, welcoming a new furry family member, or remembering a beloved companion, each card is thoughtfully illustrated to honour the unique bond between people and their pets.

Sorya leads the vision and strategic direction of Paws & Poppets, supported by a background in business and accounting that underpins the brand’s operational foundations.

Her work focuses on building practical, sustainable systems that attune to the realities of running an e-commerce.

Illustrator

As a veterinary nurse, Vivian has spent years witnessing the extraordinary human-animal bonds. From joyful milestones to quiet farewell moments. 

That connection is at the heart of Paws & Poppets. Her vision is simple: to help people share meaningful moments through thoughtful, illustrated keepsakes that capture the unique traits of every pet.

Dusty 

Purrsonal Meownager

Dusty is Paws & Poppets' purrsonal meownager. As a rescued kitten, he was returned to the shelter because he had "too much energy" for his previous owners. This is a quality we now consider a job requirement for our moral support feline resident. 

These days, Dusty channels that enthusiasm into supervising illustrations, meow-delling for reference sketches, and ensuring no creative session goes uninterrupted.
